Settlement of the Taliscas (blocks or blocks)
Taliscas are ceramic pieces, in the form of a rectangular or square plate, generally made of ceramic block shards that have the function of delimiting the thickness of the plaster on the wall. After completion of the slab or plaster, the laying of the slabs is executed.
The taliscas are small wooden or ceramic blocks, which sit with the plaster itself and provide the level (Figures 1 and 2).
In the case of walls, when laying slabs, it is necessary to fix a line in its upper part and on its length. The distance between the line and the surface of the wall must be of the order of 1.5 cm.
Taliscas (blocks of wood about 1x5x12cm or ceramic blocks) must be laid with a mixture of cement mortar and lime for the plaster, the upper surface facing the line. In this line, it is recommended to place the slabs at a distance of 1.5 m to 2 m from each other, in order to use slats with a maximum length of 2.0 m, to promote their application.
